Traveling Through The Dark I Found Light
I stumbled upon an elusive presence
My heart beats hastily
In a world of eternal darkness
I quiver with each step
As my mind trembles with fear
The life of a contemptuous person
Flashes violently before my eyes
Swoons of haunting memories
Lash at my soul
May I have serenity?
I wail out in despair
Singing Father’s prayer
An Angelic light, purer than love
Swiftly constrains the darkness away
To an oceans’ waves
Of debris mourning spirits
I kneel on cold withered ground
Trembling with grief
Wrapped in black rope
Praying as Father’s hand
Sweeps over me
My apprehension transforms
Into passion
A glimmer of light;
Flawless fabric; white dove
Flutters in darkness
The grief of my sorrow; Perishes
As Father executes
The solemn demon
Tormenting His child
My life, soul, heart
Is saved by the grace of God
