Support Groups for Teens/ Adults
"My Name Is"
Domestic violence is a public health problem affecting millions of people each year. Statistics show one in four women and one in about ten men have experienced physical violence by an intimate partner. Nearly 43 million women and 38 million men have also experienced psychological aggression with a partner during a lifetime according to the CDC.
Healing from domestic violence is so important, it helps to have someone to talk to, and with ongoing communication and meeting with others just like yourself will help make sense of what you are experiencing. Our support groups will educate, support, and find resources to help you and your family.
Our support groups offer a safe and confidential place to connect with other survivors and help each other cope with domestic violence while building quality relationships and supporting each other and our families.
If you are interested in being a part of the group, please fill out the form and we will contact you. If you would also like for us to come set up a workshop please let us know.
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."
